Susan Tenney

Susan Tenney, is an Award-winning director/choreographer as well as a poet. 

Her work in theater has been seen Off Broadway and in venues that include Lincoln Center, Cincinnati Playhouse, La Mama, McCarter Theatre and Williamstown Theater Festival.  She is the recipient of four commissions from the Princeton Coalition for Peace Action to create The Hiroshima Commemoratives, and by the Princeton Council for the Arts to create the multi-disciplinary work, The Tower, performed in five languages.  Her poetry has been published in the Ekphrastic Review, and chosen for The Poets Corner Poetry in Motion ekphrastic collaboration with Page Gallery in Camden Maine, as well as for their event LoveUnmasked.  Two poems are published in the book Remember – A tribute to Veterans and Their Families by photographer Roger Raepelle, now available on Amazon.  She is currently in development with the play McCourt which is based on the memoirs of the beloved Irish- American memoirist Frank McCourt.
