Alexandra Beers

Alexandra Beers was a teacher and Learning Specialist for 25 years. Now pursuing an MFA in the writing program at Sarah Lawrence, she lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, the writer David Shenk, their teenaged son, and an energetic Labrador named Willoughby. Alex’s work has appeared in various journals, including MER VOX, Exit 7, and The Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review.
