Burrows, together with poet Pádraig Ó Tuama (host of the “Poetry Unbound” podcast), the conversation widens to welcome award-winning broadcaster and New York Times bestselling author Krista Tippett, founder of the “On Being” public radio show and podcast.
Our most popular event of the year, these distinguished speakers will talk about the relevance and impact of Rilke’s poetry on our lives today, drawing in part from Mark’s new translation of Rilke’s Sonnets to Orpheus (Monkfish, 2024) and his new book co-authored with Stephanie Dowrick which explores the relevance of Rilke’s poetic vision: You Are the Future. Living the Questions with Rainer Maria Rilke (Monkfish, 2024).
